Love, compassion, joy, and equanimity are the four immeasurables.

May all sentient beings be endowed with happiness and the cause of happiness!

Such a saying ‘to be embraced by the pure compassion of a Lama’ is to be embraced by affection, shown the profound instructions, clarified the object of what to be abandoned or accepted, showing the ways of liberation in according to the words of The Victorious One. There is never compassion purer than that.

At the time of listening to Dharma, if the ear sense is distracted, it is identical to having poured contents on top of an upside-down container.

A Lama, in terms of pure compassion and blessing, is equal to all the Buddhas.

ནམ་མཁའ་དང་མཉམ་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་བྱམས་པ་དང་སྙིང་རྗེ་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་སེམས་སྦྱང༌།
ནམ་མཁའ་ sky, དང་ to, མཉམ་པ to be equal, འི་ related, སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ all sentient beings, ལ་ towards, for, / བྱམས་པ་ love, དང་ and, སྙིང་རྗེ་compassion, བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་སེམས་ bodhicitta, mind that perfects, / སྦྱང༌ to practice/train, །
The love and compassion of the bodhicitta are practiced towards all the sentient beings that are equal to the sky.

ཚོང་དང་སོ་ནམ་བཟོ་དང་རིག་ཤེས་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་མང་པོ་དང་འབྲེལ་ཞིང་དོན་མང་པོས་རྣམ་པར་གཡེང་བ་ནི། འདུ་འཛི་ཡིན།
ཚོང་ business, དང་ and, སོ་ནམ་ farming, བཟོ་ creativity, དང་ and, རིག་ཤེས་ intellectual, ལ་སོགས་པ་ and so forth, ལ་ / བརྟེན་ནས་ from having relied on, > མང་པོ་ many, དང་ / འབྲེལ་ connecting to, ཞིང་ while, > ན་ things, aim, མང་པོ many, ས་ by - རྣམ་པར་ fully, - གཡེང་བ་ to be distracted, ནི (topicalizer), ། > འདུ་འཛི་ busyness, / ཡིན is, །
While involved in many, having relied on those such as business, farming, creativity, and intellectuals, to be fully distracted by many aims is termed busyness.

དུས་གསུམ་དང་འབྲེལ་བར་བསགས་པའི་དགེ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་དོན་དུ་ཡོངས་སུ་བསྔོ་།
དུས་གསུམ་ three times, དང་ to, འབྲེལ་ relating, བར་ in such way, བསག accumulated, པའི་ related to that, དགེ་བ་ virtue, ཐམས་ཅད་ all, / སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ all sentient beings, ཀྱི་དོན་དུ་ for the sake of, / ཡོངས་སུ་ fully, wholly, / བསྔོ་ [is] to be dedicated, །
All the virtues that are accumulated in relation to the three times are to be fully dedicated for the sake of all sentient beings.
