Aspiration and Dedication

དགེ་བ་འདི་ཡིས་སྐྱེ་བོ་ཀུན།།
བསོད་ནམས་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཚོགས་རྫོགས་ཤིང་།།
བསོད་ནམས་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལས་བྱུང་བའི།།
དམ་པ་གཉིས་ནི་ཐོབ་པར་ཤོག།
With these virtues, may all beings
While perfecting the [two] gatherings,
Attain the two sacracy indeed,
Arising from merits and wisdom.
དགེ་བ་ virtues | འདི་ this/these | ཡིས་ with/through | སྐྱེ་བོ་ beings | ཀུན all
བསོད་ནམས་ merits | ཡེ་ཤེས་ wisdom | ཚོགས་ the gatherings | རྫོགས་ perfecting | ཤིང༌ while
བསོད་ནམས་ merits | ཡེ་ཤེས་ wisdom | ལས་ from | བྱུང་ arising | བའི which has (relative clause)
དམ་པ་ sacracy/genuity | གཉིས་ two | ནི་ indeed [stressing particle] | ཐོབ་པར་ཤོག may attain
འཇམ་དཔལ་དཔའ་བོས་ཇི་ལྟར་མཁྱེན་པ་དང་།།
ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་པོ་དེ་ཡང་དེ་བཞིན་ཏེ།།
དེ་དག་ཀུན་གྱི་རྗེས་སུ་བདག་སློབ་ཅིང་།།
དགེ་བ་འདི་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་རབ་ཏུ་བསྔོ་།།
To know in the way Manjushri does
And to be in the state of Samantabhadra,
Following them, while I am learning,
May I wonderfully devote these virtues to all.
འཇམ་དཔལ་དཔའ་བོ Manjushri | ས་ by | ཇི་ལྟར་ in the way/as how | མཁྱེན་པ་ to know | དང༌ and
ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་པོ་ Samantabhadra | དེ་ such/that/the | ཡང་ also/too | དེ་བཞིན་ just as | ཏེ and
དེ་དག་ them | ཀུན་ all | གྱི་ of | རྗེས་སུ་ after/following | བདག་ I | སློབ་ learning | ཅིང༌ while
དགེ་བ་ virtues | འདི་དག་ these | ཐམས་ཅད་ all | རབ་ཏུ་ wonderfully | བསྔོ dedicate
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་མཆོག་རིན་པོ་ཆེ།།
མ་སྐྱེས་པ་རྣམས་སྐྱེས་གྱུར་ཅིག།
སྐྱེས་པ་ཉམས་པ་མེད་པར་ཡང་།།
གོང་ནས་གོང་དུ་འཕེལ་བར་ཤོག།
The Enlightening Mind, supreme and precious,
May those who have not, will have it risen.
May those who have done, will not let it weaken,
And from better to best, may it be strengthened.
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ The Enlightening Mind | མཆོག་ supreme | རིན་པོ་ཆེ precious
མ་སྐྱེས་པ་ who have not yet arisen | རྣམས་ [plural mark] | སྐྱེས་གྱུར་ will have it risen | ཅིག may
སྐྱེས་པ་ who have arisen | ཉམས་པ་མེད་པ་ not weaken/decline | དང་ and
གོང་ནས་གོང་དུ་ from better to best | འཕེལ་བར་ཤོག may it be strengthened
འབད་དང་རྩོལ་བས་མ་གོས་པ།།
ཡིད་དཞིན་ནོར་བུ་དཔག་བསམ་ཤིང་།།
སེམས་ཅན་རེ་བ་སྐོང་མཛད་པ།།
བསམ་པ་[ཆོས་བཞིན་]འགྲུབ་པའི་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཤོག།
Unpolluted by effort and exertion,
The joy-making jewel and the wish-fulfilling tree
Satisfy the hopes of sentient beings.
May there be goodness in the accomplishing of longings.
འབད་ effort | དང་ and | རྩོལ་བ exertion | ས་ by/through | མ་གོས་པ unmistaken
ཡིད་བཞིན་ནོར་བུ་ the joy-making jewel | དཔག་བསམ་ཤིང་ the wish-fulfilling tree
སེམས་ཅན་ sentient beings | རེ་བ་ the hope | སྐོང་ satisfy | མཛད་པ do (honorific)
བསམ་པ་ longings/wishes | འགྲུབ་པ the accomplishing | འི་ of | བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཤོག may there be goodness
སྨྲ་བསམ་བརྗོད་མེད་ཤེས་རབ་ཕ་རོལ་ཕྱིན།།
མ་སྐྱེས་མི་འགག་ནམ་མཁའི་ངོ་བོ་ཉིད།།
སོ་སོ་རང་རིག་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྤྱོད་ཡུལ་བ།།
དུས་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བའི་ཡུམ་ལ་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཤོག།
Undescribed, unimagined, the transcendent wisdom,
Unborn, unceasing, the very nature of space.
Independent awareness, the pristine wisdom, object of practice,
Through the mother of the Victors of all three times, may there be goodness!
སྨྲ་བསམ་ imagine | བརྗོད་ describe | མེད་ not there | ཤེས་རབ་ཕ་རོལ་ཕྱིན the transcendent wisdom
མ་སྐྱེས་ unborn/never born | མི་འགག་ unceasing | ནམ་མཁའི་ of space | ངོ་བོ་ nature | ཉིད the very
སོ་སོ་ independent |རང་རིག་ awareness | ཡེ་ཤེས་ the pristine wisdom | སྤྱོད་ཡུལ་བ object of practice
དུས་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བ the Victors of all three times | འི་ of | ཡུམ་ mother/mother’s womb | གྱིས་ through | བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཤོག may there be goodness!
In order to truly grasp the profound meaning of this Text or any other Text, knowing Dharma Language is crucial. Thus, Home earnestly urges that Home Members diligently study this Language following the steps that we have set forth, with the joyful hope that you will very soon be able to read the words and understand the meaning of Dharma, in its mother-tongue.
